Welcome to Belvidere Central Middle School! My name is Mrs. Proffitt and I teach sixth grade language arts. I live in Poplar Grove with my husband and two daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and shopping when I am not here at school. I recently completed my Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist from Rockford College.
This is my sixth year both at Central and teaching language arts. I am looking forward to a fun and exciting year. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions as I am here to help!
